  So when will this role be assigned to a black guy (or to an Asian for that matter)? A lot will argue that Santa Claus is really white. But really knows! Has anyone seen the guy yet? He is very much a white man, and you can visit him there any time of the year, even though on Christmas eve and day he's quite busy. St. Nicholas has been later connected to the character but really has nothing to do with him apart from some similarities.
